Curriculum
The areas of development that our curriculum focuses upon are cognitive, social/emotional, pre-reading or reading skills, self-help, communication, fine motor and gross motor. Our curriculum includes an introduction to letters, letter sounds, numbers, colors, science, calendar concepts, arts, crafts, special music classes, free and organized playtime, story time, outdoor activities, celebrations, and related field trips.
The curriculum is based on the Connecticut Framework for Early Childhood Education and the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
